Pied Wheatear

Northern Wheatear

Bee-eater - huge numbers migrate through Batumi. Flocks come and go all day long but how you would count them I really don't know.

Bluethroats

A really confiding male.

Blue-headed Wagtails - I only saw flava and thunbergi on my only two non-raptor watching days.

Red-backed Shrikes - an extremely common migrant

Red-backed Shrike with a Savi's Warbler!

It flew across the track carrying the warbler before landing in a thorny sapling.

Redstart. No fall is complete without this gem.

Wryneck

A good stretch revealing the intricate markings to it's tail and wings.
